About this place
Madosh Cafe on Shibuya's Cat Street puts ripe, creamy avocado at the centre of its menu, making it a natural draw for avocado fans. The core of the food lineup consists of hearty avocado rice bowls paired with house sauces and varied proteins. A crowd favourite is the avocado salmon poke bowl, which combines raw salmon tossed in a homemade green onion and salt marinade with creamy avocado over rice. Other pairings range from the tuna tartare avocado bowl, marinated overnight in a sweet-and-spicy glaze, to daily limited bowls of minced fatty tuna sourced directly from Toyosu Market. Each bowl comes with soy milk miso soup, and large rice portions are provided at no extra charge.
From Taco Rice to Coconut Curry and Creative Sides
Beyond poke-style bowls, the menu features avocado taco rice layered with house-spiced taco meat, cheddar cheese, and salsa, as well as an avocado coconut green curry prized for its deep richness. The side menu is equally inventive: raw rice-paper rolls include Negi-Haru, which pairs avocado with minced fatty tuna and fermented natto, alongside avocado mozzarella tempura stuffed with prosciutto and crispy nachos built for sharing. Plant-based diners are also catered for with options like a spicy vegan bowl and vegan tacos that omit all animal ingredients.
The Signature Avoppechino® and Combo Sets
For drinks, the cafe's defining creation is the Avoppechino®, a trademarked smoothie blending half a ripe avocado with lemonade. While rich and velvety, it finishes clean and can be customized with various flavored syrups from the counter bar. Ordering the Madosh! Combo alongside any main dish adds one Avoppechino® plus bottomless soft drinks, soup, and snacks. Equipped with Wi-Fi and power outlets, the cafe offers a relaxed space to unwind over avocado dishes during a shopping stroll along Cat Street or lunch with friends.
